MMAAH — AWESOME KOREAN BBQ SHACK BETWEEN TWO PARKS

MMAAH — AWESOME KOREAN BBQ SHACK BETWEEN TWO PARKS

Mmaah is back! This small eatery specialized in Korean BBQ has now re-opened after its winter break. For 2014, the recipes are slightly adjusted and the range extended: besides the classic beef Bulgogi BBQ you can now also opt for the Hotgogi with chicken, both served with rice and a small salad. The yummy Mandu, filled with veggies or kimchi, are vegetarian’s delight and my favorite. Whatever you’re craving for, rest assured that all dishes are prepared with passion, sans preservatives or artificial additives, based on Andreas and Sebastian Lechle’s family recipe. The brothers who are of German and Korean decent were partly raised in Korea and started to miss authentic affordable Korean BBQ after settling in Berlin. So they decided to become culinary entrepreneurs. Lucky for us, their shack is perfectly located between Hasenheide park and Tempelhofer field – making it the best snack alternative in this area. Eating there is of course an option too; the brothers are really friendly and funny, and always up for a little chat. Now that Mmaah is back – I’m all set for summer!
