Prenzlauer Berg has recently lost a wonderful shopping destination; “Objets Trouvés” closed its doors there, so the location that opened last November in Mitte is the only shop now. Conveniently located at Rosenthaler Platz, this vintage furniture store will bring a smile to everyone who loves a touch of classic industrial style. All pieces are restored by the owners, and while most are bought in Belgium or France, some like the old sports equipment is from the Czech Republic. Other specialities include a fine selection of industrial lamps and a special Eiermann chair series that come with a black frame instead of the typical chrome; they were produced exclusively for an architecture studio a while back. Come, but not without cash. You need to spend some to get some style.
