Locally made and beautifully designed items – liquor, tea, clothing, jewellery, books – you name it, you can find it at Of/Berlin. Owners Karo, Vesna and Catrin used to be colleagues at one of the biggest interior design agencies in Berlin before they fell in love with the talented craftspeople of the city. They gathered their favorites together in a pop-up shop which first opened in September 2015. Of/Berlin, however, is more than just a temporary shop; it has become a platform for allowing manufacturers to connect with one another. In the store, you can learn more about the showcased designers on their wall of fame; among the brands are Frau Tonis Parfum, and the Lalupo product design by Jonathan and Sophie, two former UDK students. You can also interact with the creative process: the trio offers guided tours which allow an insight into the manufacturing system, such as the weekend starter tour featuring the Our/Berlin vodka distillery. The shop has recently moved into a new location on Graefestrasse, taking over the Eismanufaktur shop during the winter.
