I love the Touch & Travel App. Just hop on any public Berlin transport and pay for the ride via your smartphone. You don’t need to worry whether you should buy a daily ticket or not, since the app automatically calculates the best rate at the end of the day for you. This is how it works: select “start” upon entering the transit vehicle of your choice and press “end” when you leave – it’s that simple. Fares are automatically withdrawn from your bank account at the end of the month along with a clean invoice, listing all your trips. So you can kiss goodbye to the messy piles of tickets saved for your tax accountant.
