Students of the “System-Design” class from the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig (Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst) are exhibiting their works in Potsdam. The pavilion on “Freundschaftsinsel” will be turned into “Solid & Liquid“, a graphic design show featuring talks, presentations and discussions for two months. Using both conceptual and speculative approaches, contradictions and overlaps in design are being questioned in the exhibition, as well as reflections and research in our daily visual culture. Altogether a great reason to go for an inspiring trip to Berlin’s sister city and discover emerging graphic talents. (Text: Nina Trippel)
