The Berlin based furniture designer Rainer Spehl is having an open house event tomorrow at his beautiful studio in the cozy backyard “remise”. He works wonders in creating aged and weathered wood as well as combining different wood types with custom cut copper and brass parts. Some of his objects feel Asian and Nordic influenced; but what brings them all together is his organic and minimal design approach. A great opportunity to take an inside look at a traditional craftsman’s workspace and talk about design or a potential future project with the designer, as he does custom woodworking too.
