PER MEURLING RECOMMENDS: NALU DINER

Search no more for sausage patties, pancakes, hash browns, steak sandwiches, free coffee refills and all other good things in life. You have found your sanctuary. Nalu Diner is a classic American diner tucked away in Prenzlauer Berg and ready to make your wildest American food dreams come true. For years now I’ve been looking for a high quality American diner in Berlin and I’m thrilled that I’ve finally found it. The food at Nalu Diner is awesome, the location super cozy, the prices very fair and the staff so friendly you’ll forget you’re in Berlin. If they also had amazing coffee I’d be over the moon but hey, it’s actually borderline refreshing that somebody serves just regular filter coffee and not the newest drip made from beans hand-picked by Guatemalan baby monkeys. While you are here, don’t forget to order my favorite dish, the Double Trouble Egg McBluffin breakfast sandwich. Not only does this bad boy qualify for the award “Best Name for a Berlin Food Dish”, it’s also one of the bloody best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. Nalu Diner is the American dream come true in Berlin, check it out soon.
