Artists being pushed more and more to the edge of town is not a new phenomenon in today’s world, and Berlin is no exception. What this looks like, for example in Reinickendorf, you will have the chance to witness this weekend. Founded in March 2013, Atelieretage AR_29 is a relatively new space for artists and art production. Situated in the so-called “white city” (Weiße Stadt), also known as the Swiss District that was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 2008, a floor area over 1000 square meters hosts 17 studios. This Saturday and Sunday some of the artists will be there to show the visitors around and introduce their work. (Text: Lorena Simmel)
