TURNING THE PAGE WITH ROSA WOLF: MAGAZINES MEET COFFEE

How often have you wandered into a book or magazine store, only to leave promptly with your newly-purchased reading material to enjoy it in a nearby café? At Rosa Wolf, you can do both under the one roof. Nestled on the bustling Eberswalder Straße, this café-cum-book and magazine store is run by Domenico Gutknecht and João Cidade, who have created an environment that is thoughtfully tailored to visitors’ every reading-related whim. You can peruse their eclectic range of tomes and issues before enjoying treats from their in-house café at leisure. Alongside favourites like Another and 032c, magazine junkies will be inspired by carefully-selected titles from around the world, spanning the genres of art, photography, architecture, design, and travel. Not only are Gutknecht and Cidade contributing to the thriving independent publishing scene, they are also committed to sustainability; providing locally-sourced roasted coffee served in Kaffeeform recycled cups, along with culinary delights from local businesses such as “Unser Café”. Just in case you needed another reason to indulge your magazine/caffeine addiction… (Text: Fionnuala McNelis / Photos: Rosa Wolf)
