This Sunday Russia elects its new president. No doubt that Putin will win; whether or not its going to be fair is another issue. The exhibition “1991 – Generation Putin” may be the perfect accompaniment to follow the circus. Artist Anna Skladmann displays portraits of a generation of Russians that where born into a different country, in a time of liberty and chaos after the communist regime fell in 1991. Photos will be shown in the new pop-up gallery “Gang of Berlin”, where they’ll serve vodka and pickled cucumbers while following the presidential election on TV at the opening this Sunday.
