SANDRA TEBBE RECOMMENDS: BREAKFAST AT CAFÉ DRESDEN

For about a year I passed by café Dresden without entering, since there was something about their meticulously calculated interior design that put me off. Well eventually I did… On weekend mornings, the room, furnished with wooden benches and spalled walls, is lit up perfectly by pure sunlight so that reading a newspaper in a sun drenched room is no longer a dream. Not to mention the possibility to order wheat grass juice, great teas and alternatives to rolls with salami for breakfast. And if you look at the 20-different-latte-with-fake-syrup-Scandinavian-wannabe competitor down the road, Dresden is, despite all of its nostalgia, a real and independent café that just keeps getting better each time I go.
