A few weeks ago Süper store moved a couple of blocks down from the Canal promenade to Dieffenbachstrasse. Now you can’t miss it when you visit the lovely Graefekiez. The owners Vanessa Marangoni and Elisabeth Schotte stayed true to their concept of focusing on carefully designed and crafted products and objects for your home; such as beautiful and handy household items from the Swedish brand Iris Handverk, kitchen towels woven in Germany, and heavy steel Italian espresso machines. Minimal yet eye-catching jewelries by Brandenburg-based Christian Metzner and leather purses and etuis by Hammann made in Offenbach complete the selection. As their new premises is a bit bigger, you’ll find more items like Kelim pillows or the classic wooden Frankfurt chair. I love the new folded paper lamp shades, made partly by machine and partly by hand in Denmark. Süper remains as the ideal place to shop for gifts or to get inspired and dream of your perfect future home furnished with only quality things!
