SIN FANG – ICELANDIC GUITAR POP SPELL

Two weeks ago I was witness to a wonderful concert at Hafenklang in Hamburg – Sin Fang from Iceland was on stage and it was a terrific evening. He was playing songs from his new album “Summer Echoes”, but also hits like “Catch the Light” (video) from of his previous album (he was called Sin Fang Bous back then). Like most Icelandic music, Sin Fang too sounds a bit weird and off, but then again – thanks to his amazing voice and the guitar – it’s simply very good indie/pop music. Tonight Sindri Már Sigfússon aka Sin Fang (who is also a member of Seabear by the way) plus band is performing at Kantine im Berghain.
