SMART DELI – JAPANESE GROCERIES & FOOD

If you ever tried to find ingredients for Japanese cuisine in Berlin, you’d have quickly discovered that it’s neither easy nor plentiful. You can make do with those Asian markets, but you’ll only find a tiny, sorry section for Japanese food crammed between Indian to Korean. Good news – there is Smart Deli, now new and improved in Mitte, carrying Japanese foods and ingredients exclusively. Essentials like thinly-cut beef and pork, salted salmon, fresh tofu, Japanese rice, soba, mirin, sake, etc. can be found here. They offer lunch & dinner, drinks, sushi take-outs and best of all an online store with a delivery service!
