TAG DER ARCHITEKTUR 2022 — BERLIN ARCHITECTS OPEN THEIR DOORS

If you’re a keen urban aficionado, you are well advised to check out the best of Berlin’s architecture projects at this year’s Tag der Architektur. This weekend (25 & 26.06.2022), some of the city’s best-known architects will reveal their work and offer tours of their latest projects. On Saturday, you can join a guided tour of the “Zwillinge” apartment building duo on Treptow’s Schmollerplatz and Mitte’s “m17”, a block of flats made of lightweight concrete by Zanderrotharchitekten. The tour continues with a glass of frozé at the opening of architect firm Farland’s new offices in Charlottenburg. Then there’s Flussbad Berlin on Fischerinsel, a place that makes you dream of Sunday bathing sessions in the Spree. Last but not least, you can join the guided tours in the imposing and unique Villa Heike artists’ house before ending the weekend with a swim at Orankesee.
