Holidaying in Germany seems like the perfect way to spend this summer, but it can be difficult to find the right destination for a special trip. Taking all the hassle out of vacation planning is The Staycation Collection, a Berlin-based holiday membership club which offers a curated selection of cabins, guesthouses and holiday homes in Germany. The site was founded by travel expert Emily McDonnell who, after moving to Germany from the UK, struggled to find inspiring places to stay and so set out to make the beauty of her new homeland more accessible. Her solution is a membership concept where for a monthly or annual fee you get access to some of the most unique stays on the internet, from luxury treehouse cabins to ultra-modern holiday homes and wood huts in the forest.
Using the site feels personal: you can browse the destinations according to what you want out of your trip, be it a romantic getaway or a dog-friendly adventure holiday. Aimed at Berliners, the platform tells you how far each place is from the city and gives honest, handy information on the accommodation owners, what you’ll love about the property as well as some of the possible drawbacks (so no more unwanted surprises!). Besides being able to book trips, the membership gives you access to hidden content, monthly personalized recommendations plus giveaways and discounts. With the sun shining, now’s the perfect time to pack your bags for a holiday to remember. We’ll take the treehouse, thank you…
