The Swiss National Day is actually on August 1st, however the Swiss Embassy doesn’t seem to take dates too seriously as they will be celebrating it already on July 30th. So this Saturday after dusk, an impressive firework show will be exhibited in the Berlin sky. Unfortunately I’ve missed it every year so far, but this time I really intend on taking a closer look – the best spot will be somewhere between Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Reichstag.
