COFFEE, CUISINE & CO-WORKING AT UNICORN.BERLIN

Masoud Kamali set out to create something that he felt was missing in Berlin: an inspiring space for people to eat, meet and work together. Opened in August 2015 in Mitte’s old King Kong Klub, Unicorn.Berlin is a new co-working space that brings together what belongs together – healthy and delectable food, a focused atmosphere, and naturally the finest coffee. The concept behind it is simple; download the Unicorn.Berlin app, choose the date you want to work, and select one of 15 working spaces in the front and back of the building. Boasting culinary delights such as orange and lavender pudding, chia coconut granola and berry thyme cream cake, the integrated café focuses on plant-based products freshly prepared that day. Above and beyond the food, however, is the interior. Conceived by Laura Rave, who famously engineered the transformation of Cookies nightclub into Crackers restaurant, the well-crafted industrial design truly distinguishes this place from other co-working spaces.
