Mario Lombardo and Vanessa Obrecht, founders of Berlin perfume house Atelier Oblique, have made quite a name for themselves in the fragrance world. Drawing inspiration from their lives and the city they’ve lived in for many years, the duo’s perfumes are full of memories. Part Berlin, part Grasse, part Paris, their collections are handmade in Germany. We’ve long been fans of their elegant Mitte boutique and of course the products themselves: handmade candles that reflect Lombardo’s timeless design taste and perfumes that remind you of Berlin club nights and spring days in April. As Atelier Oblique has grown, so has the network behind it. You can meet this fragrance family yourself starting today (17.11.2022) at the launch of “Scent Studio”, a pre-Christmas pop-up which will see Lombardo and Obrecht bring together exciting boutique labels and fragrance creators from all over Europe.
Until 23.12, fragrance houses from Amsterdam, Bologna, Vienna and Barcelona are setting up shop at Atelier Oblique’s space, including Norwegian Dag Laska, who combines the olfactory landscapes of Scandinavia with clean Nordic design with his brand Son Venïn. He’ll be at the launch to personally present his latest creations, as will Nico Mannino from Swiss label Pernoire.
