Behind an unassuming and partially obstructed façade you’ll find Heimathafen Neukölln – a ballroom hosting Die Nacht der Künster*innenband (Night of the Artist Bands). If you’ve had enough of standing around and watching, head to this dance and enjoy the music. In a room with understated late 19th century décor, you’ll find snappy electropop, surf music with synthesizers, and the chansons of Berlin-Paris duo Stereo Total. The evening, incidentally, is the closing event of the “Kunstwoche der Kommunalen Galerien in Berlin” (Art Week of the Municipal Galleries in Berlin) taking place parallel to Art Week.
