When Paula and Eduardo came to Berlin they wanted to open a bar but then they met Pasquale from Italy. The trio made a change of plan from being bar tenders to pizza makers. They chose a little spot in Neukölln, renovated the place with a wooden interior, and opened “Zio Felix” this fall. Now Schillerkiez has its own little cosy classic pizzeria. The freshly baked pizza dough is done just right, thin and crispy! Unlike the latest Berlin Pizza trend, you won’t get a pre-baked and be re-heated slice here, but a round pizza that is freshly made in front of you. The menu offers foccacia and fresh salads too, plus italian desserts like Tiramisú, as well as great wines. Altogether this is the place to go for a lovely pizza in Neukölln, but the best part is their attentive service and hospitality; I’ve hardly ever experienced such a friendly and warm service from the heart!
