Today “Puschenfest” starts at Festsaal Kreuzberg. If you ask me the highlight of this two day festival is the first act, Washed Out. Behind this alias is Ernest Greene, whose music sounds as if recorded in his bedroom (and apparently really is) and the tapes have literally been given a wash. In case you only have time on Friday and are up for Indie-Folk-Elektronica, Chad VanGaalen is someone worth discovering. He is from Canada and we all know the Canadians know their music.
