Fancy a mixology detour somewhere between London and Rome? Then be sure to visit the Green Door Bar in Schöneberg this February, recently named “Bar of the Year 2025” by industry magazine Mixology. It’s no surprise Bombay Sapphire has chosen this renowned spot to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its sustainable Laverstoke distillery in the UK. Bombay Sapphire, known not only for its iconic blue bottle, is a London Dry Gin with a balanced, aromatic and fresh taste, thanks to an infusion of ten botanicals including juniper berries, orris root and lemon peel. And because a milestone birthday deserves a fitting celebration, the Green Door Bar is offering special drink creations alongside exclusive anniversary glasses designed by renowned London architect and designer Thomas Heatherwick. Heatherwick, who also designed the Laverstoke distillery (set on the grounds of an 18th-century paper mill), transformed the space into a modern building with a visitor center. The new glasses reflect the organic shapes of the distillery’s greenhouses and the iconic blue of the Bombay Sapphire bottle, symbolizing the harmonious blend of nature and craftsmanship. The signature drink, crafted by bar manager Maria Gorbatschova, is served in these exclusive architect-designed glasses. Aptly named “Roman Holiday”, it’s a unique cocktail composed of Bombay Sapphire gin, bergamot and champagne cordial, bitter almond and white Ya Bao tea. Cin cin!
