ARTEFAKT PRESENTS: HIGHLIGHTS OF BERLIN ART WEEK 2015

Usually, Anika Meier and Philipp Hindahl of artefakt – an art and criticism blog – write from Hamburg, Frankfurt, and Paris about contemporary art, literature, and related topics. Anika lives and works in Hamburg as a freelance cultural journalist for publications like Monopol; offline, she’s busy with her doctoral dissertation and a book about social photography. Philipp lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, where he prefers to write about literature, film, pop culture, and contemporary art. Besides that, he’s also engaged with digital art and working on a dissertation on the novels of Tom McCarthy. The two put together a guide of what to see at Berlin Art Week beyond the collaborative Stadt/Bild exhibition, the “abc art berlin contemporary” art fair, and the “Positions” show.
