And like every year, we start looking for our old glasses in beach bags, drawers, and glove compartments. Where did I leave them? And when exactly did I scratch the glasses so badly? If you’re like me and you’re tempted by a new, fresh model but still want to take a reflective approach to your everyday consumption, the environmentally conscious pioneers at Armedangels and the Swiss designers at Viu Eyewear may have a solution for you: “See the Future” is the name of the new two-part sunglasses collaboration that actress Lena Klenke is presenting. The collection comprises two sunglasses models, each in two trendy colors, inspired by the summer collections from Armedangels.
From the classic round “The Haalo” in Khaki and Cherrywood to the fresh, sharp design of “The Spectraa” in Black and Crystal – the glasses set accents and are sustainably produced at the same time. With a carbon footprint that is up to 30 percent lower than conventional acetate, Armedangels and Viu have joined forces to show that style, innovation, and sustainability can go hand in hand. The sunglasses will be available from 08.05.2024 in a limited edition. Critical consumption is on everyone’s lips. So it only makes sense that we can now also wear it on our noses – and thus preserve the world we love through conscious action.
