Fans of minimalist style and cutting-edge materials rejoice: Berlin-based clothing label Arys are opening a second store in Mitte, down the road from their original Kollwitzkiez flagship. Founded in 2014, Arys have since won multiple awards and gained particular success in Japan. Their combination of fashion and function has long been a big trend there and now Arys is replicating it on their home turf. Combining the practical fabrics you need for an active lifestyle with futuristic, sleek forms, their collections boldy cross conventional fashion boundaries. Take their unisex weightless jackets and sculptured tracksuit jackets and pants: they use the latest adaptive material technologies but retain a simple elegance in their design. Besides placing importance on innovation and durability, Arys concentrate on the ethical production of their garments, with sourcing and manufacturing of their men’s and women’s collections all taking place in Europe. All their items are available online as well as at their new store near Rosenthaler Platz.
