RELAXING TREATMENTS INSPIRED BY EASTERN PHILOSOPHY — ZENTRUM FÜR CHINESISCHE MASSAGEN

“Massage” comes from the Greek word “to knead”. Often seen as a way to relieve discomfort and pain, massages in Chinese medicine are used to relax and increase wellbeing. That’s how I discovered the Zentrum für Chinesische Massagen (Center for Chinese Massage) and Tuina Anmo, the traditional Chinese massage form. According to Chinese medicine, the massages activate acupuncture points and stimulate meridians. Done regularly, these treatments loosen muscles and prevent pain, improve metabolism and benefit the nervous system and organs. Regular massages of this type have helped me get rid of stubborn headaches and sleeping disorders. My recommendation is the intensive back and neck massage, which after 45 minutes leaves you feeling utterly relaxed, stretched out and in perfect alignment. The foot reflexology massage was a particularly pleasant surprise: afterwards you felt like you were walking on air.
