This weekend mind and matter come together for a three-day festival that digs deep into the world of feeling. Operating as a platform for presentations, experimentation, and discussions surrounding current research on emotions, be prepared to be blown away with topics from biological to psychological realms. In this second edition of State Festival, a line-up of workshops, art installations, performances, and thematic films has been announced, led by artists and scientists with backgrounds in neuroscience and computer science. With machines becoming smarter, capable of measuring and simulating emotions, questions of what it means to be human, and the future of artificial intelligence arise.
