Fránçois & The Atlas Mountains were scheduled to perform at Festsaal Kreuzberg tomorrow (17.2.2012), but alas the show was canceled. However their music is still worth discovering. Fránçois is a Frenchman who moved to Bristol at 19 and also lived in Glasgow for a while, sings in French and English and plays with his band “The Atlas Mountains”. His melancholy lo-fi pop like “Love E Volo” (ignore that horrible schmalzy cover…) make the perfect soundtrack for the recent winter days while others will cheer you up.
