You will find pretty much everything your heart desires in Berlin if you look hard enough. But then again, we do lack in some of the most amazing things the world has to offer; like mountains or wineries. At least the last one is easy to compensate, since Berlin is quite good at importing the best from beyond the city’s border. Like the wine called “liebe eisgekühlt”, a light and smooth Pinot Noir Rosé with well-structured acidity or “stiller stolz lauter dank”, a Pinot Grigio that’s delicate yet full body with a fruity-spicy acidity. You might have had a sip or two in Berlin restaurants, like at one of Cee Cee’s favorites “Littke Otik”. The wines are made by the network called Friends of Truths and come in pretty bottles. They use hand-selected grapes that are grown in Baden, in Markgräflerland to be precise, farmed under organic-dynamic guidelines. The vineyard operates with “organic” energy and all bottles use chemical-free corks. Last but not least, the wine is available for orders online.
