This week, Berlin will be a little bit greener, flowerier and more sustainable. Why? The Green Days open-air festival on Potsdamer Platz. Taking place this weekend (24–26.06.2022), the green-themed event will feature a flower market, live concerts and painting and DIY workshops that will please hobby gardeners and plant fans alike. Whether you’ve got a balcony, garden, or just a windowsill, there’s a diverse selection of plants and flowers to match any patch. You can also roll up your sleeves with creative DIY workshops: learn to make (dry) flower bouquets and wreaths to decorate your front door or dining table, create your own mosaic flower pot from broken crockery and old tiles, and make a macramé keychain (re- and upcycling is a strong theme here). Food-wise, there’s plenty to eat with Brammibals, Posh Bar and food trucks from Son Kitchen and Fritten Mafia plus live entertainment to bring the good vibes. Expect music from the likes of Cosma Joy, Marvin Brooks and Leona Berlin. A plant-filled weekend for all the family: sounds like summer to us…
