LATODOLCE: PETIT FOURS HEAVEN

In Graefekiez you’ll find the Petits Fours patisserie Latodolce — its Italian name literally translates to “sweet side” — a small gem of confectionary delight created by Natalia Giordano. Coming to Berlin for love, Natalia turned her passion for making everything sweet into a successful business, but not before learning from the best: She attended Espai Sucre in Barcelona, an experimental rather than classical culinary school dedicated entirely to desserts. From the start Natalia had her heart set on creating something a bit different — Latodolce is something fresh for Berlin, and in Italy wouldn’t classify as a typical pasticceria. In her open workshop space, Natalia regularly hosts a variety of pastry and cooking courses, and is also open to ideas to create special and exclusive workshops for her customers. With its big glass windows filled with colorful petits fours, Latodolce will make any passer-by look twice — and they should! (Text: Nicolene van der Walt)
