Since 2015, the charming restaurant L’Eustache has been bringing a little piece of France to the Schillerkiez. It’s a firm favorite of ours and featured in the Cee Cee No.2 book. And while until recently it was only open for evening romantic rendezvous and friendly catch-ups, this welcoming eatery is now open during the day too. The creation of owner and cook Justine, the new weekly-changing lunch menu has seen the likes of celeriac soup garnished with cress in gremolata and leg of lamb on baby new potatoes with a white cabbage salad. No matter what you are served, you can expect excellent down-to-earth cuisine, with classics given a thoughtful new twist. And this being a French outfit, you can also accompany your lunch with a glass of wine from the nicely curated menu. In addition to the inside space, in warmer weather you can dine in the compact outdoor seating area. This is how lunch should be done! (Text: Johanna Osterrieter / Fotos: Savannah van der Niet)
