LOPPIS VINTAGE: THE WESERSTRASSE HOTSPOT FOR SECOND-HAND GARMENTS

LOPPIS VINTAGE: THE WESERSTRASSE HOTSPOT FOR SECOND-HAND GARMENTS

Ever since I discovered Loppis Vintage, I can’t help but come back again and again. After all, I can find everything that makes me happy here: flowing shapes, harmonious colors, understated yet bold patterns, a warm, airy atmosphere and the balanced mix of pieces on the rack. With her clothing store, founder Agnes Zelei manages to present a thoughtful mix of clothing for men and women, bringing beauty to this corner of Neukölln. Her curated pieces – including shirts and bottoms, dresses and outerwear – are simple and delicate, casual yet elegant – and so wonderfully timeless. When I enter Loppis, I feel as if time is standing still – shopping can be an overwhelming experience, but not here. Agnes travels regularly back to her roots in Hungary to find new vintage pieces for her store, something she really has a knack for. If you’re in the mood for “new” shapes and colors in your wardrobe, head to Loppis where Agnes is looking forward to welcoming you. (Text: Lisa Strube / Photos: Savannah van der Niet, Chloe Orefice)
