50 TABI BOOTS ON SHOW — AT ANDREAS MURKUDIS STORE

A tabi boot does not only divide your toes but opinions on that as well. Some people are true fans while others don’t understand the hype at all. Both parties may join Berlin’s finest fashion store next Wednesday to prove their passion or skepticism. Andreas Murkudis is showcasing 50 pairs of the “tabi boot” from Maison Martin Margiela. Originally a tabi is a traditional Japanese sock, dividing the big toe from the others, but the Parisian-based fashion brand has become synonymous with the tabi boot. Expect mingling in style with shoe aficionados, Japanophiles, Maison Martin Margiela followers and needless to say, fashionistas. (Text: Nina Trippel)
