This is what led Mama Muun founders Shanay and Tabea to develop their range of homemade, balanced meals that are hand-delivered to your door. The menus are specifically formulated for new mothers’ needs, but you don’t need to be a mummy to try them – they are perfect for anyone who wants a healthier diet without spending half the day in the kitchen. And that’s the best bit: the plant-based dishes come ready to eat within ten minutes.
The pair take inspiration from traditional Chinese medicine to create the menus, which come in different varieties with specific energy-boosting benefits. You can buy the meals as a package or mix-and-match your favorites with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks in between. Highlights include the talbina barley porridge with cardamom and pistachio to start the day and the “super mama” goji energy treat which is packed full of nutty flavors plus fiber, iron and vitamins. If it’s lunch or dinner you are after, the lemon chickpea wild rice and sweet potato lentil shepherd’s pie are as satisfying as they are nutritious.
