With a range of handcrafted goods encompassing soft alpaca blankets, hand-carved tea lights, and delicately woven mittens, Nandi collaborates with artisans and workshops around the globe — from India and Uzbekistan to Morocco and Peru — to create their collection of fair trade “textiles, treasures, and accessories.” Leonie Arau and Vanessa Engelkes started the brand as an online shop before opening their first brick and mortar store in Prenzlauer Berg in 2015. This weekend (8-9.12.2018), you’re invited to their Christmas market for some ethical gift shopping. Also on offer will be textiles from Intrepid Shepherd, accessories from Project Três and home goods from Studio TR. Get into the holiday spirit with a glass of Glühwein, and receive a 10% discount on Nandi products while supporting talented craftspeople the world over.
