“Your post has been removed as it doesn’t follow our community guidelines.” The controversial, arbitrary and often discriminatory rules governing which body parts can and can’t be shared on Instagram goes directly against the platform’s own mission to be “an authentic and safe place for inspiration and self-expression.” Rallying against this problematic digital reality with a showcase of images that would all transgress these censorship policies is the exhibition Uncensored Berlin (7.-10.12.2018) hosted by I Heart Berlin. The event features the work of artists such as Aja Jane, Cochon de Cauchemar, Ema Discordant, Spyros Rennt, Tea Marta and many more. Come by and indulge your voyeurism in celebration of the body positivity, gender inclusivity and sexual liberation this city, its artists and its muses have become renowned for.
