What’s the best antidote to the cold? For American-Italian chef Luisa Weiss it’s Kaffeezeit (coffee time) on Sunday afternoons, a jumble of Christmas cookies, and yeasty “celebration” bread. Just in time for the snowy season, Luisa, author of the popular food blog The Wednesday Chef, sent us her new recipe book Classic German Baking to snuggle up to. Growing up between Berlin and Boston, Luisa’s book is a dedication to the recipes that guided her throughout her childhood to become all-time favorites.
