Our favorite Freibad this summer is much more than just a pool: For the second year running, Tropez has taken over Sommerbad Humboldthain to create a space for art, music, debate and relaxation. Alongside the permanent “Voyage” exhibition, the varied program (led by Nele Heinevette) brings together the likes of Aurora Sander, Bob’s Pogo Bar and Broken Dimanche Press to infuse your bathing sessions with an intellectual challenge or two. Coming up this Saturday (23.6.2018) is Creamcake’s second edition of “Europool“, a panel discussion on “Perspectives on a more Plural Europe”, which brings together sociological, legal, artistic and activist perspectives on the question of reshaping Europe together. Pack your bathing suit, spare change (Tropez also doubles as a kiosk, with top notch pommes frites) and an open mind — we’ll see you poolside.
