With the comeback of sun and summer, I – like most Berliners – have brought out my beloved fixie and made use of it relentlessly since then, whether to get to the office or to a beer garden. From my own experience, I know that finding the perfect bicycle is not easy. If you are still looking for a loyal and stylish companion for the summer, you should stop by Petersburger Platz to meet Mathias Henfling from Vintage Vélo Berlin. One look at the lovingly recreated unique models, all crafted from original vintage racing bikes, could tempt even me to add a bike to the family – particularly a custom-made one.
