AN ITALIAN FEVER DREAM: THE H&M STUDIO RESORT CAPSULE COLLECTION 2024

AN ITALIAN FEVER DREAM: THE H&M STUDIO RESORT CAPSULE COLLECTION 2024

Close your eyes and imagine the following: warm, crumbling sandstone walls covered with faded ornaments and carved faces. Wild flowering vines, the scent of jasmine and sand, pine, peach and cypress. Gauzy white curtains billow in the light breeze. Ice cubes chink in the glass you hold, cooling your fingertips. Music thrums softly in the distance. The sun is a glowing apricot floating in a hazy blue sky. The designers of the new H&M Studio Resort Capsule Collection must have been dreaming of a scene much like this when they created their Italo-boho-inspired summer looks. The color palette ranges from golden-yellow pastels to nocciola and pistachio to midnight blue and charcoal. Glittering details, elaborate prints, textured embroidery, and eye-catching embellishments form a unifying theme throughout the collection. The pieces — beaded mules, crochet crop tops, and draping jacquard dresses — move casually between beach and jet, rooftop parties, and country weddings. For almost every occasion, they are the answer to “What will I wear?”. The H&M Studio Resort Capsule Collection will be available from 10.05.2024 in selected stores and online. As part of the launch, a pop-up (10.-14.05.2024) curated by digital creative Yuki Injo, will take place in the H&M Mitte Garten Store. You’ll find the unusual print of the Bomarzo monster on-site, which I think has the potential to become the it-piece of the 2020s. So, go on, summer will be over before you know it.
