If lithium-ion cells, AC fast charging and regenerative braking sound like a foreign language to you, then it’s time to wise up on e-mobility. Soon all your road journeys will be electrically powered, so it’s only right to get informed about this alternative energy. The “Start to Drive Electric” exhibition, opening on 12.03.2020 at the Drive Volkswagen Group Forum on Friedrichstraße, is your highway to this knowledge. Packed with interactive displays showing the cutting edge in four-wheeled technology, it promises immersive learning that’s the opposite to a session on Wikipedia. The highlight is The Accelerator, a 360 degree walk-in cinema where you learn about e-mobility not just with facts and figures, but feelings and emotions too. Besides showing you the underlying tech, the exhibition also hosts discussions on topics like driving feel and design, as well as practical advice on charging and vehicle range.
