INTERIOR AND LIFESTYLE DISCOVERIES AT THE NEW H&M HOME CONCEPT STORE AT HACKESCHER MARKT

A beautiful home is pretty important: that’s something we’ve learned over the past few years. The things we see, touch and use every day should be fun and give us good vibes. That’s what H&M HOME is all about: practical, decorative and original accessories for the whole house, from bathroom to living room. Located at Hackescher Markt, the concrete and wood shop sits on two floors and features a design inspired by Bauhaus and modern houses and hotels. Inside, architectural arches divide the large shop floor into different sections that occupy the whole building. Besides the latest interior collections and lifestyle trends from H&M HOME, the store sells a selection of local brands. Berlin’s diversity is well represented, with a range that includes some Cee Cee picks, like vintage pieces and upcycled furniture from Another June and art from online gallery Kunst100. A selection of vintage ceramics from Studio Galerie Berlin makes a visit to the store feel like a city stroll and flea market visit rolled into one.

The 650-square-meter space also features an orangery with fresh seasonal flowers and plants, plus a cafe for a coffee break. For a personal touch, there’s a monogram service, individual interior styling from Toi Toi Toi Creative Studio as well as flower and plant advice from Studio Horeis. You can also order custom-made furniture from Handwerk Designs and carpets from Hand in Hand. And if all that means your shopping bag gets a little overloaded, not to worry: you can get your new buys delivered right to your door.
