OSHIONE: GLUTEN FREE SOURDOUGH BREAD AND BAKED GOODIES FOR HOME DELIVERY AND ON THE MARKET STALL

Baker Aureen Aipoh was working full time in an office before Oshione began, whilst in her own time perfecting a gluten-free version of a classic banana bread. In February 2020, Aureen decided to pursue baking professionally by starting a market stall, which goes by the middle name that she was given by her grandfather: Oshione. Beginning first with her classic cinnamon and buckwheat banana bread, she has now expanded to four varieties of banana bread and a whole range of gluten-free baked goods including delicious sourdough bread. Oshione’s best-seller is the Nordic seed loaf, which is a sourdough made from a mix of flours (rice, buckwheat, oat, tapioca), seeds and kernels. She also sells cinnamon snails, dark chocolate or buckwheat banana bread, millet baguettes and loaves, muffins and granola. Her creations are as aromatic as they are flavorful, natural and homemade. Everything is made free of additives, and completely organic. Not sure how to pronounce Oshione? It rhymes with schön, and we can taste why. (Text: Scarlett Peeters / Photos: Oshione)

Oshione have regular market stands and offer their baked goods through their online shop.
