OUMPH! — VEGAN FOOD BRAND COMES TO BERLIN WITH A POP-UP VEGAN SPÄTI

A quick trip to the Späti to get plant-based burger patties for a midnight snack? This has always been difficult in Berlin, but now there is a remedy for hungry vegetarians, vegans and flexitarians: the Swedish food brand Oumph! has arrived in Germany for a Späti pop-up in Mitte starting 06.09.2021. Here you’ll have the opportunity to stop by and try out the range, which includes free tasters of the Oumph! burger and taco variant as well as discounted Plant Meat products. The vision of the Swedish brand is simple: to create delicious, tasty, purely plant-based foods that help protect the climate. The selection includes six different frozen products – both seasoned and unseasoned – including The Pulled Oumph!, made from soy protein, and the “Oumph! Kebab”. All the versions can be fried, boiled or grilled depending on the dish or your desires, while the soy itself is GM-free and sourced from the Danube region. It’s no surprise that the founder of the brand is chef and activist Anders Ankan Lindén: for him the name “Oumph” reflects an attitude towards life and, above all, delicious food. This is something you just need to try – so let’s Oumph!
