Hybrid, informal and flexible: that’s where the world of work is heading – or at least where many of us want it to head. To realize this dream, one thing we’re going to need is new kinds of workspaces, and if you’re a business owner, this means swapping (or supplementing) your old-fashioned office for something more versatile and future-ready. This is where providers like Mindspace come in. Founded in 2014, the office-rental company provides space to businesses both small and large in seven locations across Berlin, from Ku’damm to Skalitzer Strasse. As for design, the idea is that each location has its own character. All locations offer hotel-like features (gyms, coffee bars, showers, roof terraces) and services (reception, parking, community activities), plus fun, informal interiors with lobbies designed as hangout zones to meet in, not just spaces to rush through. And when the work day is over, the team can wind down with workouts, seasonal parties, lectures, and tastings.
