In January 2018, Janne Kaas opened a different kind of café on Kotti. Her mission: Share homemade, healthy drinks, original flavors and bring balance back into your life. Back to the Roots (Bttr) is a café (almost) without coffee or milk, but full of concentrated plant power and passion. In her glass kitchen, Janne produces lovingly made, fresh cold-pressed juice, vitalizing shots and creamy nut mylks enriched by Sun Potion supplements and superfoods, with tonifying herbs, aka adaptogens. Janne has an extensive knowledge of how these different herbs, fruits and vegetables improve well-being, and she’s thrilled to share it with you. A favorite from the menu is a juice with pear, fennel, sage and lemon. Another is the hazelnut mylk, which you can bring home or enjoy in a warm Golden Mylk with turmeric, cardamom, nutmeg and reishi.
