Sunscreen: we all know we shouldn’t go without it, but too often we forget to dose up on sun protection. That’s hardly surprising given how thick, sticky and irritating some creams are, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Luckily the suncare range from i+m avoids these problems. Having produced natural cosmetics since 1978, the Berlin-based company has now developed Sun Protect, a range of sunscreens that are waterproof and tailored to different skin types, with a sun milk product especially for sensitive skin. The idea came from founder Inge Stamm, a long-time women’s rights activist and proponent of organic cosmetics. Her creams are vegan and free of nanoparticles, thus making them good for our oceans and coral reefs. Besides the beach, Sun Protect is also ideal for your home office: the cream is said to protect you from the blue light you are exposed to from your computer screen thanks to butterfly lilac extracts. And if you do end up sitting on Tempelhof Feld for too long, the After Sun Gel with organic aloe vera and camomile will help cool you down. The aftersun, sun cream and sun milk can be bought together in a practical set, which includes all you need for safe days at the lake – sustainability included!
