Don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen this Christmas? With their festive dinner boxes, Berlin caterers Wild & Wiese let you serve up a heavenly holiday meal totally stress-free. Normally busy preparing impressive spreads for the city’s events, the team have used current circumstances to bring their philosophy of seasonality and sustainability to your humble Christmas dinner. Available to order are four different festive menus, each featuring high-quality products from Berlin and the surrounding regions. Your box of delicacies comes pre-cooked and ready to reheat in a range of glass jars, bottles, and vacuum bags. Preparation instructions are of course included, with no pro knowledge needed. Our pick is the vegan Snowflake Box, which offers a great alternative to the traditional roast goose – though you can have this too as part of the Santa Claus Box. The vegan feast includes a pumpkin consommé with chestnut dumplings and a mushroom Wellington Pie with lentils, walnuts and spinach served with red cabbage, wild cranberries, colorful carrots in sugar syrup, and smoked hazelnuts, all followed up with a Christmas spice cake with custard. In short: quite a treat!
